Dr. Glenn Agung Hole will participate in the international programme covering the election of deputies to Kazakhstan's new national legislature, the Kurultai, in Astana from 22 to 24 August 2026.
The programme includes visits to polling stations and briefings by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international election observers. Dr. Hole will also participate in the National Think Tank Forum, "Future Projection: From Interpreting the Results to a New Agenda," a roundtable hosted by CFive and Hudson Institute, and a session with the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Ahead of his departure, Dr. Hole has already engaged in dialogue with representatives of Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C., and a British think tank. These discussions will continue in Astana, focusing on strategic partnerships, connectivity, economic opportunities and Kazakhstan's evolving role in the emerging Eurasian geopolitical landscape.
